“Summer Dream” – Words & Music by Gary Owen

I don’t think I’m ready to go, now.
I think I’m ready to tag along, now
Flying high in a summer dream tonight
I’m only gonna say it once, now.
I see the light and it’s shining bright, now
Flying high in a summer dream tonight

Summer dream or so it seems.
Never gonna let it fade away.
My summer dream it sets me free
It’s time to fly away in my summer dream

I wanna know when night’s-a-fallin’
There’s a place that I’ll be callin’
I’m gonna wander through a summer dream tonight
Gazing up at the midnight blue sky
Feel the breeze as it gently blows by
I’m gonna wander through a summer dream tonight

Summer dream, or so it seems
Never gonna let it fade away
My summer dream it sets me free
It’s time to fly away in my summer dream

Planets rise at twilight
All around me they’re taking flight

Crescent moon and all it’s healing
Keeping with the joy I’m feeling
Coming to me in a summer dream tonight
I think it’s time to get myself there
Through the meadows and the evergreens, yeah
Flying high in a summer dream tonight

Summer dream, or so it seems
Never gonna let it fade away
My summer dream it sets me free
It’s time to fly away in my summer dream
